Half slips

Has anyone seen any pretty half slips lately?

Now that it's getting colder and I'll soon be wearing stockings on a more daily basis, I'm in the market for some pretty half slips. But almost everything I see is very...ordinary. Just beige or white, either totally unembellished or with the generic strip of lace at the bottom. I can live with some black ones that have generic lace on the bottom (if I have to), but in general I want something a bit prettier/more unique and in more colors! It's just not right to cover up pretty lingerie with something so obviously utilitarian.

I feel like I've looked everywhere, and the only thing I can find so far (that isn't vintage) is this from VS:

It's pretty but there has to be more selection out there....right?

(oh, and I should say, right now I'm looking for slips under $50 because I plan to buy several, but it seems like this problem is rampant at higher price points as well)

I've surfed around a bit trying to find something you might like but was surprised to find they seem to be as rare as hens teeth. The ones you found are certainly pretty but I agree, there's got to be more out there.

I know they've become less popular in recent years but I don't think I've ever had such a hard time as I am now. I'm so disappointed, we will have a post about it up on the homepage in the next couple days Wink

I found a site that carries quite a few half slips. I've never dealt with them so I can't comment on the quality or their customer service but the prices seem reasonable and they do have a few that might work for you.
