| Does anyone know any lingerie lines that make bras for women with breast implants. I recently got a breast augmentation and am having a hard time finding bras that fit well. |

| I have no experience with implants myself, and I don't know if anyone here does. Is the problem the extra weight and the support -- or is it finding a well fitting bra? |

| if it is just the size change not being accomodated at traditional stores, let us know. there are quite a few places that have nice things in larger sizes. |

i'd suggest starting off with a large department store with an experienced fitter (M&S) until you find the right size and styles then go looking for something more luxurious.
i've no experience of implants but if pregnancy and post breast feeding changes are anything to go by it can take a while to find the right size because you feel arkward to being with.

Thank for the replys everyone! Basically, bras just don't fit right when you have implants because bras are made for natural breasts. When you get implants, the projection of your breast increases, and standard cup sizes don't necessarily coordinate. Does that make sense? When I first went and tried on new bras, post operatively, I had to have a D cup to accomodate for the projection of my breasts, however I actually needed a C cup for the base width of my breasts.
I am now wondering if there would be a market for bras specificly designed for women with breast implants..... |

Get yourself sized up, vanessalaura! Really, there's bra fittings all over the place (if you want we'll help you find a location) -- and they'll make sure you learn the appropriate size...
The proportions don't really matter, most brands will have lingerie that fits you -- it's a matter of getting to know your true size and the brand's sizing! |

Le Mystere just introduced a new line called No. 9. It was designed for the augmented breast. It has a flexible wire and is a lot sexier. My only problem with this bra is it tends to stand away at the edge, meaning it doesn't lie flush with the top portion of the breast. You will see this bra through a t-shirt. It is so sexy though, the panties are even cute and I am a thong girl myself. It is Exclusively at Nordstrom right now until June 15th. _________________ Lauren Cassidy

| These bras are now available in the UK! They come in sizes 32C to 36E, are priced from £60 and are available in Harrods in London from Monday 11 June. They should be rolled out to other shops in due course. |

According to Knickers Blog
"A number of doctors from The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) have joined together to start MyBreast, an information and sales website offering women medical information and post-augmentation care tips, as well as a provider of cosmetic surgery. MyBreast has now announced that they will be adding the No9 bra to their consultation service, giving women a No9 bra in their desired bra size to let them take home and try out." |
