| I like the three different textures from the satin finish top, the lace trim defining the torso extending around the legs, and soft texture throughout the body of the garment. I think I will buy that for her and pack it for our ski weekend getaway next month! |

One piece from the Shirley 2009 Ready to Wear Collection, this is the kind of bodysuit I remember from the "olden days". It's supposed to be worn as a top and it never comes untucked

I was under the impression a bodysuit was a light control-type garment similar to a girdle, just not as harsh or rough (although there are some with blouse-like tops meant to be seen), while a teddy was a very loose fitting one-piece garment meant more for decoration than anything else! I may be wrong, I don't know.
As for "going to the loo", I do own a few bodysuits and have never had any problem with getting the bottom un-hooked. I find the challenge is hooking it back when I am done!
To the person looking for one with a thong back (sorry I didn't catch your name), I own one made by Flexee's that I bought at a Maidenform outlet store that was very reasonably priced. It was on sale and I paid $18 for it. Fits beautifully and feels great! Good luck finding what you want.
