First of all, I am sorry, that I never introduced myself and posted just a couple of times.
With my fresh coffee on my desk, I read Mandolinas post re diNeila and sure enough, at first I took a deep breath, imagining it would be a line we sell at our store. My second thought -I liked the fresh- and the openess, how personal feelings were expressed and how Mandolina added her "edited" to it
You might wonder, why is he even mentioning it?
In my opinion, it's important, that different tastes and opinions are expressed, regardless if one likes it or not.
I don't know, if anyone noticed, that Google changed it's "safety" filter - it has 3 parts now.
When it's on - the word "lingerie" is filtered out of the search results, while "sexy lingerie" is NOT filtered.
Does it make sense? - no - do I consider it as censoreship - yes, of course.
Another example and I am sure, some have seen or read about it - Pampered Passions paid for a Google banner ad with a picture series, where a man bites gently in a garment, worn by a woman - no private parts revealed, combined with a text about "getting any".
Google banned it.
I am not here to judge about Google - it's a company and they can do whatever they seem fit - however (!!!!) it's on us, to react, to debate and to talk about it - if we don't and just accept it as a given - who knows, if not one of us will be next?
Who will speak up then?
Bella Bella and Pampered Passions are competitors to us ( we are the small fish) - we sure sent both a Christmas Card - we like both and we love competition.
That's what it's all about.
Thanks Mandolina and All who speak up and we wish you all a very happy season! _________________ Kind Regards,
