| Whatever the reasons for it, Kate Moss has been dropped as the face of Agent Provocateur. Good news I think considering what she gets up to and some of the friends she chooses. No my idea of a 'model' by any means. Each to their own but I have never found the waif look or heroin chic particularly appealing. Does anyone actually disagree with Agent Provocateur in their decision? Apparently, she will be replaced by a “top secret” younger model as her 12 month contract ends. |

You can't say Kelly and I aren't on the ball
I don't actually think she is anything more than a top shop model. Not that there is anything wrong with that but supermodel....c'mon?!?!? My own personal opinion is she isn't that attractive and she becomes even less attractive when you look at some of the things she has done/is doing. But what do I know? She has been very successful at what she does but it looks like her personal life could now be adversely affecting her professional life. You would have thought that taking cocaine (allegedly) would have done that but it somehow seemed to have improved her image. It's a strange world sometimes....I mean would you want your daughter to look up to her and aspire to be like her? |

I thinking, as far as the cocaine thing goes, that "any press is good press" - I mean, people paid attention to her after that!
I don't know what I think about her as a model. She has never been any kind of great beauty to me, but I do like some of the AP photos. I'll still be interested to see who the new model is - I think AP can do better. _________________ Lingerie is the poetry in a woman's wardrobe.

Daisy Lowe is tipped to replace Kate Moss as the face of Agent Provocateur. Daisy is the daughter of Bush front man and Mr. Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale.
Apparently, Daisy caused a scandal when she posed for AP two years ago, when she was just fifteen, which I personally think is disgraceful of AP. She then went on to claim that she was all set to star in their campaign until Kate Moss advised her against it and then stole if right from under her nose! Apparently she said "Kate's stolen my thunder".
Well it looks like Daisy has had the last laugh. And what with reports that her less-than-perfect boyfriend has cheated on her, it has not been a good week for Miss Moss.
So any views on Daisy? Can't see the attraction myself....
And in a comparison of the two in this photo, I think I actuallyprefer Kate.

AP has sucky taste. Seriously, I actually DISLIKE how she looks, and I'm not the most critical person when it comes to looks....
I hope this is misinformation, but it looks like she does fit what was in the news (i.e. age) |

Well it looks like it was misinformation; maybe to try and annoy Miss Moss?
Apparently, American actress Maggie Gyllenhaal has signed a deal with Agent Provocateur to be the face and body of the brand. She will star in a new online and print campaign in September. Link here.
I don't really know much about her, except she starred in the film 'The Secretary', but will reserve final judgement 'til I see her in the campaign. Not that impressed though. Here's a photo of her:
Find out more about her here. |

Shammy - Are you and I both up in the middle of the night reading lingerie news? I think I see a post from you on the forums within 10 hours of my writing a post every time! _________________ Lingerie is the poetry in a woman's wardrobe.

Apparently Gyllenhaal will bring a new brand of intelligent eroticism ( ). Nice interview of her here if you have a few spare moments. |
